Amazon Q2 2025 Revenue Jumps 13% on AI-Driven Growth
Amazon reported a 13% year-over-year revenue increase to $167.7 billion in Q2 2025, up from $148 billion in the prior-year period. Excluding a $1.5 billion foreign exchange tailwind, growth still reached 12%. Operating income surged to $19.2 billion, while net income ROSE to $18.2 billion ($1.68 per diluted share).
CEO Andy Jassy highlighted AI as the catalyst across business units, with Alexa+, DeepFleet, and Bedrock AgentCore driving operational efficiencies. AWS revenue climbed 17.5% to $30.9 billion, outpacing the 11% growth in North America and 16% in International segments.
